The lodge is situated around an oasis garden on the outskirts of the village of Gunjur close to the beach. There is an opportunity to learn about the local culture , and enjoy fresh local produce such as fresh tropical fruit and fish freshly caught. You can try the local palm wine collected daily from the nearby palm trees.
Other activities are Bird watching, visiting the nearby Gambian villages or see the sacred crocodile pool in Kartong Village.m
